The Memorial Tournament celebrates its 50th year and the FGL is proud to be a part of a majority of those tournaments. A deep field, as always. Weather appears to be cooperating, so far. Don’t worry, your Commissioner will be on the sacred grounds Tuesday to welcome FGL golfers and explain to them my expectations.
At the Schwab, something weird happened. After giving up on my team and hanging up the phone on them at our last team call, Don Henley got hot. He started banging his drums and birdied his last 4 holes to win a freakin’ tournament for me. It doesn’t much matter but it still feels good. This moves me into 3rd place behind Doug on your FGL leaderboard.
In shocking news, Monica did not pick up 10+ points for once! She actually scored -1. Hard to believe.
As we roll into June and summer, for those of us not named Jim or Paul with waves outside our door, I’d encourage all of you to dig out your Beach Boys or Jimmy Buffet music. Plan that trip to Buckeye Lake, a Clippers game or Scioto Downs. Let’s not let summer slip by. It’s really good at that.
